At Open Arms, we have two kindergarten rooms - a JK and a SK room. Our JK room is licenced for 24 children with three full time loving teachers. Our SK room is licenced for 16 children with two full time caring teachers.
Our two kindergarten programs expand on the skills already learned and provide children with an atmosphere that stimulates them cognitively. A low teacher/child ratio allows staff to work closely with the children to provide them with a good foundation for the many school years ahead.
Care is provided on a full or part time basis as well as an alternating day schedule.
Our kindergarten program begins for children who are currently 3.7 years of age and will be turning 4 years of age by December 31 st. This program continues until the child reaches the age to begin grade one.
